Let's Start at the Very Beginning...a Very Good Place to Start!

One of the hardest things I have ever come across is the process that I'm embarking on now. As an American student pursuing one's master's abroad, one would think that there would be some guidance from others before.  That was a nice dream. Of course, there is plenty of information for those doing a Marshall Scholarship, Fulbright, etc., and even for those wishing to backpack across Europe for a certain period of time. There is nothing, really, to help those of us who are doing this process on their own. Thankfully, I consider myself a bit more prepared than the next person down the street doing the same process because I had studied abroad with Syracuse during my junior year in London. Yet, even that, has not answered all my questions. This is why I've created this blog. Of course, this blog is also for my experiences of living in London for two years (just as I created a blog when I was there for four months). This blog will also chronicle my journeys of my MPA program. But, I want this blog to be able to help others who are considering doing the same thing. This is a weird introduction to why I've started this study abroad blog, but I felt it was needed. I leave in early September, and I will be sure to start posting regularly with how prep has been going since last December when I began applying to graduate school. I hope you will join me on my journey!
